The Angry Beavers Wiki

Dag’s List is the second half of the eleventh episode of season 3 of Angry Beavers. In this episode, Dag carries a list in which the animals think they'll be on when Barry gets hurt with Dag's rocket pen.

Episode Summary[]

Daggett returns to the Dam to get first aid so that he can bandage himself up and fix his nose, complaining to Norbert in the kitchen that somebody had beaten him up, but couldn't remember who. Norbert noticed something in the newspaper that he was reading, tore it out and sent it through the tube, assuring Daggett that he knew just the thing to help him remember. When the mail came back, he revealed to Daggett the Pri-Organizer, which contained everything he needs, including a picture of the pretty girl whose identity nobody knows, and the main feature, the rocket pen. This delighted Daggett when Norbert emboldened him to go out into the forest and fill in the Pri-Organizer with his culprits' names. Unknowing that this is part of Norbert's prank on his brother, Brotherly Prank Number 45. Setting a timer for 15 minutes, he sat back with his paper and waited patiently with delight that Daggett's threats of putting his foes in the Pri-Organizer would have him mushed.

Daggett met Barry while he was doing weights and showed him the Pri-Organizer, though as he was doing so, the rocket pen hit Barry that caused him to crash into his weights, crash over the edge of a cliff, hit by a train, catapulted onto a plane's wing that then caused it to crash. All the time not realising what was happening, Daggett found his rocket pen and put it back in the Pri-Organizer. As Daggett left, Wolffe D. Wolf came by and saw the destruction of the plane, and asked Barry what had happened. All Barry can describe is Daggett talking about putting those who would beat him up on his lift, and the next thing... boom! This made all the animals spread the news not to mess with Daggett, for fear of being put on his list.

The timer rang, and as Norbert walked outside expecting his successful prank on Daggett, he was surprised to see the woodland animals hiding behind him in fear of Daggett and his list. Wolffe D. Wolf pointed to Barry's injuries as proof, which caused Norbert to disbelieve that his dim-witted brother could do such a thing. Desperate for protection by Norbert and not wishing to be on the list, the animals gave him their favourite belongings, thus turning Norbert into a mob boss. Later, while Daggett was trying out the Pri-Organizer's solar calculator, Barry, along with the other animals disguised as foliage, managed to get his Pri-Organizer. As Barry explained to Daggett that it's not cool to go whomping other animals, which Daggett objected to doing nothing of the sort, the rocket pen launched at Barry, and the same thing that had happened to him before happened to him again. This caused all the animals to realise that their names were not written on the list and that it was the fault of the rocket pen hitting Barry. And if that is the case...

Barry and the angry animals visited Norbert. What started as a simple clever prank on Daggett backfired hugely and was quietly taken away to be whooped offscreen. Meanwhile, Daggett assured Norbert that he would write their names down in the Pri-Organizer, right next to the picture of the pretty girl. Though the rocket pen was activated and hit Barry offscreen, repeating the chain reaction a third time. Daggett was annoyed and rushed off after the downed plane to retrieve his pen.

Trivia[]

  • The piece of paper with "Dag's List" written in red ink was stuck on Dag's foot for the entire episode.
  • This is the first time Wally Wingert is properly credited for voicing Wolffe D. Wolf, as this never occurred in any of the character's previous speaking appearances (or at least Wolffe was never shown with Wingert's list of characters in this case).
  • Fifth episode to have Dag's name in its title. [1][2][3][4]
  • Second time the instrumental of "Oh Baby" is played. [5]
  • Near the end of the episode where the animal crowd (disguised as various forest elements) confronts Dag, the "Ranger Daggett Sez" signs from "Deranged Ranger" are still seen on the trees that were hollowed out for said disguises.
  • The events of this episode were referenced in a flashback in the Season 4 episode "House Sisters."

Allusions[]

  • Schindler's List - The episode is a sort of take-off on the 1993 film, especially the scene where Norb pays a visit to Barry and Barry wants to know if he's on "the list".
